Lemon Garlic Chicken with Asparagus

Prep Time  5 minutes-Cook Time 20 minutes Nutrition Serves: 4 Calories 215kcal (11%)  Carbohydrates1g Protein 22g (44%) Fat 13g (20%)Saturated Fat 7g (35%) Cholesterol130mg (43%) Sodium176mg (7%) Potassium 290mg (8%) Fiber 1g (4%) Sugar 1g (1%) Vitamin A 315IU (6%) Vitamin C 1.7mg (2%) Calcium18mg (2%) Iron1mg (6%) Ingredients 3 tablespoons butter                    juice of 1 lemon   4 cloves minced garlic                   ¼ cup freshly chopped oregano      1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme 1 pound boneless chicken thighs or breasts Salt & pepper                             1 bunch fresh asparagus cut in half Instructions 

  1. In a medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat add the butter until melted. Add the lemon juice, garlic, oregano, rosemary, and thyme. Add the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until chicken is no longer pink and 165 degrees. Remove chicken and set aside on a plate.

  2. Add the asparagus to the pan and salt and pepper. Saute for 5-6 minutes or until tender. Add chicken back to the pan for a minute or so and serve.

  3. Garnish with thin lemon slices
