ABOUT CHERYL PATELLA
“The highest education comes from applying knowledge with real-life experience.”

For over 40 years, Cheryl Patella has helped clients of all ages achieve lasting results through science-based training, personal experience, and compassionate coaching. With multiple graduate degrees, specialized certifications, and decades of hands-on work with doctors and rehabilitation specialists, she has built a career rooted in deep understanding of both the body and mind.
Early in her career, Cheryl pioneered the integration of medical rehabilitation with fitness—introducing this approach at elite communities like Fisher Island and Williams Island, long before it became industry standard. Trusted by surgeons and medical professionals, she has helped hundreds of clients safely recover from surgery, manage chronic conditions, and reclaim their strength.
Her personal journey began as a college student who gained 40 pounds and wanted to feel better. Through nutrition, movement, and consistency, she changed her life—and was asked to help others do the same. That simple shift started a lifetime of transformation, both for herself and those she serves.

CHERYL’S TRAINING APPROACH
She draws from a full spectrum of training modalities often incorporating several into your program composed of your background, current capabilities, medical history, lifestyle and goals. No two programs are the same, because no two people are the same. Cheryl blends decades of practical wisdom with coaching insight to help you not only look and feel better—but to thrive confidently in midlife and beyond. Each program has a strong foundation based on her experience and education to create exactly what you need to be your best self, living your best life!

Cheryl meets you where you are—physically, emotionally, and in life. Whether you're recovering from injury, going through menopause, an executive feeling the impact of neglecting their own health, or simply want to feel strong and energetic again, her methods are built around your unique lifestyle and goals.

A SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE IS PRICELESS!
Learning about people’s motivation, movement, priorities, and medical backgrounds allows me to be more successful with my clients. Understanding what is important to them, and what motivates them, helps ensure my clients reach their goals, whether it’s functional movement, post-surgery rehabilitation, or achieving their personal fitness goals. I think the most important thing for anyone to know about me is that my number one passion is helping others. It comes naturally to me and is one of my strongest gifts.
My desire to help others and be creative has afforded me the privilege of working with developers, managing gym renovation projects, and with non-profits creating programs for residential rehabilitation centers. I also co-founded a women’s residential recovery center, The Agape Women’s Center.
I am very passionate about writing. So much so, that I recently published my first book, The 21st Century Woman. Writing is something I enjoy and is a creative outlet I can share. You can read some of my articles in the following publications: American Spa Magazine, Entertainment News & Views, Living In Balance Magazine, Women’s Fitness, Miami Metro, and on my website.
